Kayak Rental Details

Kayak rentals are offered year round. Below are some key points to remember while booking your trip. 

• Available Kayaks Include: 2x 9.5' Single Rider Short Kayaks, 2x 11.5' Single Rider Medium Kayaks, and 2x 13.5' Tandem Rider Long Kayaks. 

• Kayaks can be launched directly from our kayak dock at Gulf Spring Livin'. Our crew will help with launching and disembarking.

• Please bring any drinks, snacks, or meals that you may want during your trip. Ice will be provided and small coolers are encouraged!

• Paddles, life vests, and emergency whistles will be provided. Liability waivers are required. 

• Adult beverages are allowed on-board brought by anyone over the age of 21.

• All ages are welcome to ride on rented kayaks. Children under 6 years of age are legally required to wear an appropriately sized, US Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times that the kayak is not docked or anchored. Life jackets in multiple sizes will be available. Children must be attended by a parent at all times. 

• For parties of 8 or less, a Kayaking guide can be booked to show you the best kayaking spots through the springs and on the Homosassa River. 

• Less than 5 minute paddle to the beautiful Homosassa Springs!

• A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking to hold a reservation. The remainder of payment will be due before boarding.

• 100% of the deposit held, minus a $20 administrative fee, will be refunded for kayak rental bookings cancelled up to 3 days before the reservation date.

• Kayak rental bookings cancelled less than 3 days before the reservation date will not receive a refund of their deposit. 

• In the event that the captain determines an inclement weather hazard for the day of a reservation, guests can attempt to rebook or 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
